"When we arrived there was nobody at reception, then were told our stay was cancelled even though it wasn’t. Service in every area terrible, have to look for someone if you want to order a drink. Seeing the rhinos is amazing and could be the only thing that people would travel for. This lodge has so much potential to be so much better but there is zero enthusiasm by anybody on the property. "

Yvonne the manager went far beyond and out of her way to make us feel welcome and helped us sort out our broken down vehicle. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, rooms are great with good AC, especially liked the terrace off the room where you can watch the sunset, sunsets here are incredible. "Wonderful lodge in the desert. Very friendly staff, very clean. Rooms have AC. The property has a gorgeous pool and the property is well maintained. The wifi is sluggish, and rooms to not have a refrigerator to keep items cool, however the kitchen bar staff had offered to put a few items in their fridge, however- you need to go there and ask them to hand it to you. It's not a self-serve fridge."
